Civil Wedding Ceremonies and Wedding Receptions

Bodrhyddan is one of the most stylish wedding reception venues in North Wales. The facilities we provide include our beautiful grounds as a location for your wedding reception marquee, with additional covered areas such as a welcome gazebo or caterers tent as you require. We are close to Rhyl, Prestatyn and Rhuddlan.

Civil Wedding Ceremonies

We are licensed to hold Civil marriage ceremonies by our local authority, Denbighshire County Council. These can be held in the Drawing Room, the Great Hall or at the Summer House, each of which can be seen elsewhere on this website.

Wedding Receptions

Other wedding reception venues in North Wales will find it difficult to compare with this beautiful location as we are sure the accompanying pictures will attest. As one recent bridegroom kindly wrote:

"The setting was to die for. Our photographs capture a real atmosphere – not something you could achieve at the bottom of a hotel staircase."

There is also a particular ambience to the house and gardens of Bodrhyddan.

"All of our guests agree it would take some topping and say it was the most relaxed wedding they have ever attended. How often do you hear the words relaxed and wedding in the same sentence?"

"We would question anybody as to why they would want to have their day run by a hotel duty manger and some school leavers when you can do what we did".

Marquee Suppliers, Caterers and Bar Managers

We have available a list of suggested marquee suppliers, caterers and bar managers from the area. We are not in any way financially connected with them and recommend them purely on the basis that they have performed here reliably on previous occasions. You are quite free to choose others if you wish. We do not recommend any particular entertainers, discos or the like because this is such a matter of individual taste.
