From Weddings to Cottage Hire: 4 Services Offered by Bodrhyddan Hall

Bodrhyddan Hall isn’t just a gorgeous countryside house, it’s also a portfolio of rentable properties and venues, and it’s even the home of an Egyptian mummy! This article outlines the broad range of options available so that you can also enjoy an idyllic part of the North Wales countryside.

What is Bodrhyddan Hall?

Bodrhyddan Hall is a large Grade I listed country house in Rhuddlan, North Wales. The current building is a 1690s remodelling of its original 16th-century version. Some restorations and additions took place in 1874 which were designed by the renowned architect William Eden Nesfield, and the house has remained largely unchanged since then.

Garden Visit

One of the main attractions for Bodrhyddan Hall is its 12-acre gardens that were laid out by William Andrew Nesfield when renovations took place in 1874. From June to September, when the flowers are in full bloom, we offer a guided tour of the house and gardens on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 14:00-17:00. Aside from the gardens, the house itself boasts an impressive collection of arms, armour, antique furniture, artwork, and even a 3,000-year-old Egyptian mummy!

Weddings

The beauty of the house and its gardens make them the perfect location for an unforgettable wedding reception. Especially in summer when the flowers are in full bloom, Bodrhyddan Hall offers unrivalled elegance and beauty. We deliberately offer limited booking dates to retain a level of exclusivity which allows us to devote more time to your special day.

Venue Hire in Clwyd

It’s not only beautiful wedding receptions that we offer but we also have a range of venue hire options available to customers. The Billiards Room can host up to 60 delegates for presentations and conferences or we have smaller options that can host around 6 people. Not only this, but we have been used as a backdrop for various media projects, and various fayres, ceremonies, and car shows. Plus, we own a handful of terrace houses and cottages close to the estate which are likewise up for rent.

The good thing about Bodrhyddan Hall is that it has something for everybody: whether you’re just looking to visit, need to book a conference room, would like to have a wedding reception, or want to stay at one of our other properties, we have the right venue for you.
