Bodrhyddan Hall

North Wales best days out – Bodrhyddan Hall in 2022

2022 was a fantastic year for us at Bodrhyddan Hall as we were able to welcome well over 15,000 visitors across a wide variety of events. This will give you a preview of the upcoming activities and days out in North Wales at Bodrhyddan Hall in 2023.

Weddings

2022 was the return of COVID-free weddings and we were delighted to welcome the very limited number of brides and grooms back to Bodrhyddan Hall. We hosted a mixture of ceremonies and receptions as we continued to live up to our reputation of one of the most exclusive North Wales wedding ceremonies. 2023 is looking to continue this trend with only a fraction of dates still remaining, while 2024’s calendar is quickly filling up.

No Man’s Land

This event is quickly becoming known as one of North Wales’ best days out and a fixture in the calendar for locals and those travelling to Denbighshire. 2022 saw over 600 re-enactors and close to 2,000 visitors to see this unique events, showcasing eras from the ancient Greeks to modern day military, at the venue that is stepped in history of it’s own. We are delighted to announce that No Man’s Land is returning to Bodrhyddan on April 8/9th, making this the perfect Easter day out for families in North Wales.

No Man's land has quickly become one of North Wales best days out, with a variety of interesting and educational events. This event is free for children who love to learn.

Pots, Plants & Food

We all loved the Plant Fayre at Bodrhyddan Hall, as the event had become a fixture for close to 20 years. We are delighted to team up with Ceramic Wales to add an entirely new spin. The event is now a great place to buy plants in North Wales, as well as handmade ceramics and food festival, with a number of local vendors serving delicious, artisan food. The event saw well over 2,400 visitors attend in 2022 and we hope to see more again in 2023, June 17/18th.

Having originally been the plant fayre, Pots, Plants & Food aims to become one of North Wales' premier days out.

House Opening

Bodrhyddan Hall has been open to the public for over 50 years but has seen record visitor numbers over the past two years. A perfect afternoon activity, that can easily be combined with a tour of Rhuddlan Castle, Bodrhyddan Hall features guided tour of our historical house and time to enjoy scenic North Wales woodland walks in the beautiful gardens. 2022 also saw Bodrhyddan open to the public on certain bank holidays, so please check out our opening dates to ensure you don’t miss out.

Classic Car Show

It was great to welcome Classic Shows back to Bodrhyddan Hall for three dates in 2022. Bodrhyddan has always had a fascination with all things that go so we thoroughly enjoy seeing the huge crowds that turned out to see the vintage cars and motorcycles at this wonderful classic car show in North Wales. Check back with Classic Shows for the dates they are returning to Bodrhyddan Hall in 2023.
